As old as Blackburn Rover’s connection with Ewood Park itself, The Fernhurst Lodge was built in the 1890’s - but we can assure you the only thing that’s Victorian about us these days are the lovely architectural features retained after our 2007 refurbishment. Airy and spacious, we’re a popular vibrant venue, modern too - with great facilities and a very warm welcome to boot.
With a past woven tightly with the cotton age, Blackburn rests in a hollow to the north of the stunning West Pennine Moors, with Preston only 9 miles away and Manchester 21 miles away. Excellently placed for road and rail networks, Blackburn is a bustling Lancashire town, with fantastic local opportunities for shopping, sightseeing, theatre trips and museum visits.
Further afield, it’s impossible to ignore the rolling moors and pretty Lancashire villages - coffee shops and craft galleries, not forgetting the miles of rugged terrain just waiting to be explored. Or you could simply put your feet up in the bar and watch the match on telly instead...
